Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Steady Husband ("we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit steadyhusband.com (the "Site"), buy our products, use the AI Text Check, or get our emails. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
Steady Husband is a digital education business based in the United States. - Email: admin@steadyhusband.com
2. Information we collect
Information you give us - Purchase details: your name, email address, billing country or ZIP code, and what you bought. Payments go through Whop. We never see or store your full card number. - Email signup: your email address and name if you give it. - Text Check input: the text you paste into the AI Text Check (see Section 5). - Messages to us: anything you send to admin@steadyhusband.com.
Information collected automatically - Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. - Cookies and similar tools: small files and code (including the Meta Pixel) that help the Site work and help us measure ads. See Section 6.
Information from others - Whop tells us about your purchase, refund and access status. - Kit tells us whether you opened or clicked our emails. - Meta gives us summary reports about how our ads performed.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information such as health data, precise location, or government ID numbers. Please don't put it in the Text Check or in emails to us.
3. How we use your information
- To sell you products, deliver them, and give you access.
- To process refunds through Whop.
- To run the AI Text Check.
- To send you emails about your purchase and the plan, and marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To measure and improve our ads and Site, including through Meta.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, keep the Site secure, and follow the law.
4. Who we share information with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only with companies that help us run the business:
| Company | What it does for us | What it gets |
|---|---|---|
| Whop | Checkout, payments, product delivery, refunds | Purchase and account details |
| Kit (ConvertKit) | Sends our emails | Name, email, email activity |
| Meta (Facebook/Instagram) | Ad measurement and ad targeting | Pixel data, hashed email, purchase events |
| OpenAI | Powers the AI Text Check | The text you paste |
| Manus | Builds and hosts the Site | Usage and technical data |
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, to enforce our Terms, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
5. The AI Text Check
- When you paste a text into the Text Check at /text-check, it is sent to OpenAI's API to create an answer.
- We don't store the texts you paste into the Text Check.
- OpenAI says it does not use API data to train its models, and may keep API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days to watch for abuse, unless the law requires longer. OpenAI's own privacy terms apply to that handling.
- Nobody at Steady Husband watches or reads the Text Check in real time. It is not monitored.
- Please leave out names, phone numbers, addresses and other private details about anyone.
- The Text Check is available to buyers for 30 days after purchase.
6. Cookies, the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API
We use cookies and similar tools to make the Site work and to measure ads.
- Meta Pixel: code on the Site that tells Meta when you view a page, start checkout or buy. Meta may use this to measure our ads and show you ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- Meta Conversions API: our server also sends purchase events to Meta. Before it's sent, your email address is hashed, which means it's scrambled into a code. Meta uses the code to match the event to a Meta account.
- Your choices: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can change your ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account, and opt out of interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of sharing where the law requires.
7. Emails
If you buy or sign up, we will email you. Marketing emails always include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails. You may still get emails about a purchase.
8. How long we keep information
We keep purchase records as long as we need them for taxes, accounting, refunds and the law, usually up to 7 years. We keep email list data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We don't keep Text Check texts (see Section 5).
9. How we protect information
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards. No website or online service is 100% secure, so we can't promise perfect security.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: - Know what personal information we have about you, and get a copy. - Correct it. - Delete it. - Opt out of "selling" or "sharing" your information for targeted ads. - Not be treated differently for using these rights.
California residents: In the last 12 months we collected identifiers (name, email, IP address), commercial information (purchases), internet activity (pages viewed, clicks) and general location from IP address. We collect them from you, your device and our providers, for the purposes in Section 3. We don't sell personal information for money. Using the Meta Pixel for ads may count as "sharing" under California law. To opt out, email admin@steadyhusband.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share," or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. You can also use an authorized agent.
Other U.S. states: Residents of states with similar laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and others) can make the same requests the same way. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject.
Visitors from the EU, UK and similar places: We process your information to fulfill our contract with you (delivering what you bought), based on our legitimate interests (running and improving the business), with your consent (where needed for cookies and marketing), and to follow the law. You can also object to processing, ask us to limit it, ask to move your data, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority. Your information is processed in the United States.
How to make a request: Email admin@steadyhusband.com from the email you bought with. We may need to confirm who you are before acting. We will respond within the time the law requires.
